Back in 1999 virgildonati.com had a landing page that showed a flash intro if you wanted it.

I have been moderating the messageboard for a good number of years, and it is fun to look back on all the changes that Chris (Chris Nalbandian, webmaster/designer) has made to the site over the years.

I included two shots of the messageboard, one from 2001 and one from 2009.

Back in 1999 where this collection begins, the site didn't have a messageboard. The first log I could find showed 94 members with a total of 280 posts. Now we are close to 11,000 members with more than 6,000 threads holding +72,000 posts. Clearly a lot has happened in 10 years.

I also included a promo video for the site, to illustrate how the web became much more dynamic around 2005/2006. The video was made in 2006.
